A North Country H.S. Principal has been recognized as the top Principal in New York State.

The Saranac Lake High School principal has been selected as the 2026 New York State High School Principal of the Year by the School Administrators Association of New York State (SAANYS). Joshua Dann the long-time principal at Saranac Lake High School will be recognized at the group’s annual awards celebration on May first in Albany. School Administrators Association of New York represents nearly 22,000 school administrators, supervisors, and retirees.
