There's a new summer baseball team in the Lake City; the Plattsburgh Commodores are 2-1 in their first three games. The Boston Celtics have traded franchise cornerstone and 2024 NBA Finals MVP Jaylen Brown to the Philadelphia 76ers in a blockbuster transaction that sends veteran point guard Paul George and four draft picks to Boston. The USMNT is on to the Round of 16 after defeating Bosnia and Herzegovina 2-0 last night. The Americans played with 10 men for nearly half an hour after star striker Folarin Balogun was sent off with a red card. The U.S. will face Belgium in the Round of 16.

Steve grew up right here in the North Country, graduating from Beekmantown High School ('84). Steve has always had a dream of being on the radio and has broadcast live local sports for over half a decade! Now, Steve doesn't have to stay in his own lane, and he's bringing Criss on Sports to NBZ-FM!
Steve, and his wife Nina, reside in Beekmantown with their three dogs, and are proud parents of two sons and two daughters. Hunter, Ryan, Gretchen and Rachel are in their early twenties, and are enjoying strong starts in their respective careers!
