  There is a huge SUNYAC men's hockey game tonight at the Stafford Ice Arena as the Plattsburgh Cardinals host Skidmore at 7 pm. The Cardinals can jump into 4th place in the standings with a victory over the Thoroughbreds.

  The Saranac Spartans wrestling team pulled out a dramatic, 38-33 win over Beekmantown with a pin in the final match!

• Criss On Sports - February 11, 2026

  Meanwhile, Plattsburgh High's boys hockey team beat Saranac 5-2 last night to take over second place in the Section 7 standings.

About Steve Criss

Steve grew up right here in the North Country, graduating from Beekmantown High School ('84).  Steve has always had a dream of being on the radio and has broadcast live local sports for over half a decade!  Now, Steve doesn't have to stay in his own lane, and he's bringing Criss on Sports to NBZ-FM!

Steve, and his wife Nina, reside in Beekmantown with their three dogs, and are proud parents of two sons and two daughters.  Hunter, Ryan, Gretchen and Rachel are in their early twenties, and are enjoying strong starts in their respective careers!
