Tyler Wood

Tyler is in his final year of undergraduate studies at SUNY Plattsburgh, where he majors in broadcast journalism. 

The son of a championship racing driver, sports have been a steadfast presence in Tyler’s life since birth. He became involved in sports announcing during his sophomore year of high school at Beekmantown Central. 

Now, Tyler is the lead play-by-play broadcaster for all Plattsburgh State Cardinals home games on gocardinalsports.com. You can also catch him calling Clinton Community College soccer and basketball, Saranac Lake HS football, and various high school playoff events on the NFHS Network.
