A federal judge in Massachusetts ruled Tuesday that Trump officials violated the First Amendment by seeking to deport pro-Palestinian students. U.S. District Judge William Young said the administration used immigration powers to silence lawful political speech on campuses. More than 70 passengers and one crew member aboard Royal Caribbean’s Serenade of the Seas reported illness during a voyage from San Diego to Miami. The ship carried 1,874 passengers and 883 crew members. CDC officials confirmed symptoms were consistent with norovirus, a highly contagious virus that causes vomiting and diarrhea. The outbreak was reported Sunday to the CDC’s vessel sanitation program. (Story URL)


President Trump announced Tuesday a new agreement with Pfizer to reduce prescription drug costs. According to a White House fact sheet, Pfizer will sell medicines directly to patients at steep discounts. Pfizer also plans a $70 billion investment in research and U.S. manufacturing. DoorDash has unveiled Dot, its new autonomous delivery robot designed for neighborhood use. The company says Dot is the first commercial robot able to move through bike lanes, roads, and sidewalks while supporting local commerce. Built in DoorDash’s in-house labs, Dot is about one-tenth the size of a car. An early-access program will begin in Tempe and Mesa, Arizona, with a launch planned in Phoenix. (Story URL)


President Trump on Tuesday proposed turning American cities into training sites for the armed forces. He told senior commanders the nation faces an “invasion from within” and compared it to fighting a foreign enemy. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth joined Trump, declaring an end to “woke” culture in the ranks. He announced gender-neutral fitness standards and urged officers who oppose his directives to resign.
