Abbott, is expected to face legal challenges over church-state separation. Similar laws in Louisiana and Arkansas have also been challenged in court. FedEx founder Fred Smith, who revolutionized global logistics, has died at 80. He stepped down as CEO in 2022 but remained executive chairman. Three people died and 81 were injured after a stand collapsed at a soccer stadium in Algiers, Algeria. The incident occurred as fans celebrated MC Alger's league title win. The initial toll was one dead and 50 injured, but two more fans later succumbed to their injuries. A hot-air balloon caught fire and crashed in Brazil's Santa Catarina state, killing 8 people. Footage showed the burning balloon plummeting to the ground, with 2 people falling from it.
