A Lake City, Florida woman who was training to become a correctional officer has been accused of smuggling drugs into a prison. Jakaleb Thomas was arrested by a task force after officials received a tip that she was going to receive illegal narcotics. Thomas was allegedly planning to smuggle drugs into Suwannee Correctional Institute. Officers seized 42 grams of crystal meth and 211 grams of marijuana. She's now being held on a $333,000 bond.
