Indian police have apprehended a man for allegedly operating a counterfeit embassy in a rented residential building near Delhi. The suspect, identified as Harshvardhan Jain, posed as an ambassador and deceived individuals by promising them overseas job opportunities in exchange for money. Police discovered doctored photographs of Jain with world leaders, as well as fake seals from India's foreign ministry and various other countries. Additionally, Jain is suspected of engaging in money laundering through foreign shell companies. Authorities seized four cars with fake diplomatic plates, along with approximately 4.5 million Indian rupees and foreign currencies from Jain's rented property near the capital. (Theguardian)
