Climbing season is set to begin soon at Mount Everest, but aspiring climbers might have a new helper: Drones. Several companies have been testing out drones to deliver supplies like oxygen canisters, remove waste, and potentially set up ladders and ropes. The use of drones could even help Sherpas do their jobs more safely. "Sherpas bear enormous risks," Tshering Sherpa said. "The drone makes their task safer, faster, and more efficient." (newser)
