You'll be able to hear 106.3 NBZ-FM live over the internet without interruption.
On Thursday, we were getting reports of what we call the "Doomsday Tape" playing when you attempted to listen to NBZ-FM on certain platforms. That's backup audio that will run in the event of a technical fault. With how the issue manifested itself, it wasn't immediately clear to us that it was happening. To that end, we extend a heartfelt thanks to those who reported it to us.
What it boiled down to was a syntax error on our end, which has been corrected.
We'd like to extend a special thank you to our partner in many things, Aiir. That's the company that provides NBZ-FM with essential framework for our radio station to function, such as the automation software that plays our music and commercials and our online platforms, such as this very website, our app, our Alexa Skill, and our live stream. Once they had the report from us of an issue, they were able to diagnose what the problem was, and we were back to normal as quickly as possible.
As always, on behalf of everyone who works everyday to make this station a truly great one, thank you for listening. You're truly the best part of 106.3 NBZ-FM.
