Weather Data Skewed

Better weather data collection today catches more information than years past according to a U.S. Government meteorologist.

Advances in modern forecasting technology may be skewing weather data as meteorologists are now better able to measure various events.  For example, this year the number of tornados recorded may show a record high, but a government meteorologist, Brad Rippey, says that may be a reflection of better data collection not that we’re seeing more tornadic activity today vs the past.
