We're learning more about the arrest of Jacob Sawyer who hid from police for over three months.
According to Ticonderoga Police, multiple search warrants were executed regarding an incident that allegedly involved Jacob Sawyer and a victim on April 13th. Police had been searching for Sawyer since the incident according to Police Chief Adam Hurlburt. He was finally arrested on Wednesday police report. Following his arrest Sawyer was arraigned in the town of Ticonderoga court where was remanded to Essex County Jail with bail set at $250,000 cash, $500,000 bond or a million dollar partially secured bond. Chief Hurlburt said Sharri was Meritt also arrested on Wednesday for hindering prosecution. Reportedly, Meritt released on an appearance ticket to answer the allegations in town court at a later date.
