State Police say based on evidence gathered there is no indication that an abduction occurred and there's no threat to public.
State Police reported that the subject of an Amber Alert has been found dead in Ticonderoga. The Alert rang out on cell phones statewide early Sunday morning. It said Troopers were investigating the abduction of a 9-year-old girl that happened near Lake George around Northway Exit 22. State Police investigators are now saying that following inconsistencies in the father’s account of events they believe there is no indication that an abduction occurred, and there is no threat to the public. State Police say the child and her father, 45-year-old Luciano Frattolin, are residents of Canada. The investigation is ongoing, and more information is expected to be released later today.
