A teacher supply center, run like a store, provides donated supplies to teachers free of charge.
The Teacher Supply Center, in NY’s Capital region, is entering the third year of helping teachers with supplies for students. This unique idea addresses the problem of students starting school without necessary supplies. The store was created by Pastor Charlie Muller of Victory Church and the goods in the store are donated. Muller says, “Teachers are amazed at how big and professional the store is.” He said school districts can create a store at a minimal cost. This year the center will spend around 40,000 dollars to run the operation that helps teachers.
