An updated program in Clinton County provides a tax exempt policy for residential housing construction.
The Clinton County Industrial Development Agency has approved the first residential project under the Agency’s newly updated Uniform Tax Exemption Policy. Molly Ryan, Executive Director of the agency, said “this reflects the type of investment our updated tax-exempt policy was designed to support.” The project involves three new duplexes totaling six rental units at 15 Hamilton Street in the City of Plattsburgh. Ryan said construction is expected to begin before the end of the year.
