SUNY Reconnect Program

North Country residents are part of a new SUNY program that offers free college to older students.

The SUNY Reconnect program has received over 16,500 applications from eligible New Yorkers. The Reconnect initiative helps working-aged adults return to college and earn a degree. The program offers eligible adults—ages 25 to 55 without a college degree—a path to an associate degree in high-demand areas. Some of the programs covered include Nursing, Computer Information Systems and Renewable Energy.
