Smoke from Canadian Fires

Canadian wildfire smoke is expected to cross the border and blanket the North Country this week.

Poor air quality caused by smoke from Canadian forest fires could be a problem locally for people with respiratory conditions.  According to the National Weather Service in Burlington, smoke from wildfires burning in the Canadian Prairie Provinces will spread over our region this week. The weather service says some smoke could make it to the ground.
