Police are looking for a Ticonderoga man who they say has been on the run for several days.
The Ticonderoga Police department has identified 28-year-old Jacob Sawyer as the suspect they're looking for. Sawyer has an active arrest warrant for attempted murder in the second degree among several other charges. According to police, on Sunday afternoon a call came in regarding an assault reportedly involving a knife. They say a female victim was struck in the neck, causing serious injury. She was airlifted to the University of Vermont Medical Center after initial treatment at Moses Ludington.
