Hikers and bikers using the Adirondack Rail Trail will see a detour this week due to work on train depot.
A segment of the Adirondack Rail Trail bike path will be temporarily closed starting today through Thursday, October 2nd according to the Department of Environmental Conservation. The closure is required to ensure public safety while a contractor works on the Saranac Lake Train depot with lift equipment on site. Signs and safety tape will be added to the closure area for the duration of the work.
