A positive rabies test result on a bat was reported by the Clinton County Health Department.
A City of Plattsburgh resident contacted the Police and Animal Control after finding a bat acting strangely in their front yard. The bat was sent for testing, and the test came back positive for the rabies virus according to the Clinton County Health Department. Reportedly, no human or pet exposure occurred in this case.
