The City of Plattsburgh reports that upgrades at Melissa Penfield Park are ready for the public.
A community room and new public restrooms highlight the upgrades at Penfield Park. The community room is available for city residents to rent for private events. Courtney Meisenheimer, Director of Community Development, said “while conducting public outreach many residents expressed a desire to have a community space at the Park.” The new facilities are part of the City’s ongoing Parks Renewal Project.
