NYS Summer Camps

Monday, December 22, 2025 at 6:21 AM

The Bureau of Environmental Education ran four summer camps this year for the first time since 2019.

Just over 1,200 campers participated this year, which amounts to an increase of 29%.  The program is in its 79th year and offers conservation education at the camps for youth ages 11-17. The four camps are: Camp Colby in Saranac Lake; Camp DeBruce in the Catskills; Camp Pack Forest in Warrensburg and Camp Rushford in Western NY.  Online registration for the 2026 Summer Camps program will open in March.
