Hundreds of soldiers from New York will be part of a huge parade in Washington D.C. on Saturday.
Four hundred thirty-six Soldiers from the New York Army National Guard's 42nd Infantry Division will be among the troops taking part in the Army's 250th anniversary parade in Washington D.C. on Saturday. The contingent is led by Major General Jack James. The parade will include Abrams tanks, Bradley Fighting vehicles, Stryker infantry vehicles, and self-propelled howitzers. Flyovers from historic aircraft and Army helicopters will be part of the event as well. A total of 6,700 troops will march on Constitution Avenue along the Mall past the White House.
