No State Budget Yet

Early last week it seemed like the NY State budget was a done deal...apparently it's not.

At the start of last week, Governor Hochul announced a conceptual agreement had been reached on the state budget.  By the end of the week with no new budget in place Senator Dan Stec issued a statement saying there is no budget deal and work continues on the spending plan.  The Senator said the Governor's announcement injected further chaos into an already dysfunctional process.  The NYS Budget is constitutionally required to be in place by April first.
