Senator Dan Stec said it could be another week without a state budget
It appears a disagreement over rolling back discovery and bail reform laws is one of the major sticking points keeping the state budget in limbo. Senator Dan Stec said it's his understanding that the Governor wants to strengthen the laws and that puts her at odds with the democrat majority in the Senate and Assembly. Meanwhile, Senator Stec reported that an inmate convicted of killing a police officer may get parole and, he says, if that happens it would be the 44th "cop killer" released in the past 8 years.
