The SUNY Plattsburgh mascot has moved on to round two of the Mascot Madness competition.

“Burghy” the SUNY Plattsburgh mascot has advanced in the annual Mascot Madness contest. The competition is broken down into 5 rounds. Voting in round one saw “Burghy” beat Potsdam State’s “Max C Bear” to advance to the second round. The Plattsburgh Cardinal will take on Farmingdale’s “Ram Bo” in round two. Meanwhile, sadly it’s wait until next year for Clinton’s mascot “Calvin Cougar” who lost to Alfred State’s “Big Blue”. Round two votes can be made online every 12 hours through SUNY’s website. Round two voting ends tomorrow afternoon at 3pm.
