The 9-1-1 caller reported a structure fire at a multi-resident building on Margaret St. Thankfully, it wasn't.
The call came into the Clinton County dispatch center Monday night reporting a Structure Fire on Margaret Street. According to Chief Scott Lawliss, upon investigation, the issue was an improperly discarded smoking device that smoldered and caused smoke throughout the building. The smoke was ventilated, and everyone returned to their residences.
