A local artist and retired professor from SUNY Plattsburgh will be exhibiting paintings at SUNY Canton.
Retired SUNY Plattsburgh Professor Peter Russom is exhibiting 18 painted works at SUNY Canton. According to a press release, Russom taught drawing and painting at SUNY Plattsburgh for nearly 30 years. He earned the SUNY Chancellor's Award for Excellence in Teaching in 2008 and retired from higher education in 2023. Originally from Saratoga County, Russom now lives in Port Kent.
