The state allows axe throwing venues, go-kart tracks and others to now apply for a liquor license.
The State Liquor Authority widened the range of adult-oriented recreational businesses that are now eligible to apply for on-premises liquor licenses. Under this new Advisory, businesses such as axe throwing venues, go-kart tracks, darts lounges and other similar adult recreational type venues may qualify for liquor licenses—provided they comply with all applicable state and local laws and demonstrate the ability to serve alcohol responsibly. Businesses seeking more information about eligibility requirements should contact the State Liquor Authority’s Licensing Bureau.
