Clinton Country DA, Andrew Wylie, reported that a 20 year sentence was given out in a kidnapping case.
District Attorney, Andrew Wylie, said 44-year-old Shawn Hart was sentenced to 20 years in prison after a conviction of Kidnapping in the second degree. Wylie said he also got 7 years for assault, 5 years for strangulation and 2 to 6 years for criminal possession of a weapon. A press release noted that all sentences are to be served concurrently. Hart appeared before Judge William A. Favreau in Clinton County Court on Wednesday.
