A couple of surveys have been created to gather information on the needs of job seekers and employers.
The New York State Department of Labor has launched two statewide surveys designed to help the state understand the experiences and challenges of job seekers and employers. These surveys collect insight from every region and industry statewide. The job seeker survey is for New Yorker’s who are out of work, underemployed, or considering new employment. The survey will also collect information from students to get a better understanding of their needs as they enter the workforce. Both surveys are available on the Department of Labor website and have an anticipated closing of December first at Noon.
