Inspiring images of trees are the focus of this year's Arbor Day poster contest according to DEC.

Photographers and artists are encouraged to submit images that capture the power and beauty of trees. Submissions should reflect the theme, “Trees for the Future,” expressing through original photos or artwork a tree and people connection. Submissions will be accepted on behalf of the State Arbor Day Committee through the end of November. The winning image will be featured on the 2026 Arbor Day poster.
