NY State may issue inflation checks to millions.
New York State tax filers may receive a bonus this year in the form of a so called "inflation check" if the Assembly and Senate approve of the idea. The money comes from additional sales tax revenue the state received due to inflation last year. Reports say the amount of the check would be based on the state tax payers income level.
