Hot Weather Safety Tips

Hot Weather is expected to return to the North Country over the next few days.

The American Red Cross says there are things people can do to stay safe.  The agency recommends everyone stay hydrated and avoid doing strenuous outdoor activities during the warmest part of the day.  Also, wear light-colored clothing and make sure to check in on elderly neighbors who may not have air conditioning.  Signs of heat stroke are dizziness, lack of sweating, rapid heartbeat and nausea.
