Landowners establishing, improving or restoring forests may be eligible for money from the NY DEC.
The Regenerate NY Forestry grants range from $10,000 to $1 million. Eligible applicants include any individual with between 5 and 2,500 acres of undeveloped land that is forested or can become forested. Projects must be completed by December 15th. DEC will host a webinar on February 3rd to provide information about the Regenerate NY Forestry Cost Share Grant Program.
