Charge into Fire Safety is the theme during "Fire Prevention Week" focusing on lithium-Ion Batteries.
This is Fire Prevention Week and the official sponsor, the National Fire Protection Association, has announced the theme this week is “Charge into Fire Safety” with a focus on Lithium-Ion Battery safety in the Home. The association says they have three key messages: Buy only products with a stamp from a nationally recognized testing lab, charge the device in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions and recycle your battery at a safe battery recycling location.
