Federal Money to NoCo Region

Over a million dollars in federal money have been awarded to two North Country projects.

According to a press release from U.S. Senator Chuck Schumer, these projects will help address wastewater infrastructure and quality of life improvements.  The City of Plattsburgh received $100,000 for a feasibility study of its wastewater system in the Rugar St. corridor.  In Essex County, The Lake Placid Association for Music, Drama and Art will get a million dollars to renovate and modernize a 52-year-old theatre.
