Emergency Spending Approved

Another budget extender was passed on Thursday.

Lawmakers returned to Albany to approve the Governor's eighth emergency spending bill.  The New York State budget is constitutionally required to be approved by April first each year.  This year the spending plan is over three weeks late and reportedly the delay is not over fiscal matters but policy disagreements.
