DWI Arrests

Over the Labor Day holiday weekend State Police focused on impaired drivers few were arrested in NoCo.

The North Country region had the fewest number of DWI arrests during the State Police Labor Day weekend enforcement campaign. The special enforcement period began on Friday, August 29^th and ran through Monday, September first. During the campaign, State Police utilized sobriety checkpoints and additional DWI patrols. In total, troopers arrested 225 people statewide for DWI. The North Country saw just 8 people arrested for DWI which was the fewest number of people arrested for drunk driving in any region of the state.
