DMV Shutdown

The Department of Motor Vehicles will shutdown temporarily to install a new computer system statewide.

The DMV will be closed temporarily starting tomorrow afternoon to allow for implementation of a new system.  DMV operations, including in-person, online and over the phone services are expected to resume next Wednesday.  The new modernized system will replace outdated technology, which goes back decades, the DMV reports.
