The Clinton County Legislature held its annual reorganizational meeting this week to choose 2026 leaders.

Mark Henry was re-elected as Chair of the County Legislature. Francis Peryea was elected Deputy Chair. Rob Timmons will continue serving as Republican Leader, while David Bezio will serve as Democratic Leader. At the meeting the Legislature also recognized Christine Peters in her new role as County Administrator, overseeing daily County operations and supporting the implementation of legislative priorities.
