James E. Bordeau was arrested on March 12, 2025, for multiple offenses, including DWI and aggravated family offense, following a domestic dispute in Champlain. Troopers responding to the scene found Bordeau intoxicated and determined he had physically assaulted and choked the victim. He also briefly took the victim's child during the altercation. Bordeau was arraigned and remanded to Clinton County Jail.
