A North Country cemetery will participate in the "Caring for your Cemetery Day" this Saturday.
The Department of State and participating cemeteries seek to recruit volunteers for the "Caring for Cemeteries" program. The state wants to generate interest, especially among younger people, in local cemetery care. Last year, about two dozen properties were part of Cemetery Day. This year, over 75 will take part. In the North Country, Lake View Cemetery in Willsboro plans to participate in "Cemetery Day" cleanup activities.
