A bridge closure that has forced changes in public transit will continue until the end of the year.
Continued construction delays associated with the bridge closure in Lyon Mountain have resulted in an extension of Clinton County Public Transit schedule changes. Expect the previous changes on the Champlain/Rouses Point, Clayburg, Lyon Mountain and Mooers routes to continue until the end of the year. Specific changes are listed on the CCPT website.
Fees Waived
During the month of October application fees for SUNY and some other institutions have been waived.
Twin Valleys Sold
A land trust reached a deal with CAS at SUNY Plattsburgh to purchase Twin Valleys outdoor center.
Trick or Treat
The annual downtown Plattsburgh Trick or Treat event will be held on the afternoon of October 25th.
Another Prison incident
Several staff members at a North Country state prison were reportedly taken to the hospital.

The NY Financial Services department will have a new leader according to the Governor's office.
