Paul Smith's College and U.S. Biathlon announced an agreement that provides scholarships to biathletes.
According to school officials those who qualify will receive financial support to help make college more accessible while maintaining their competitive training regimen. The scholarship program recognizes the balancing act faced by student-athletes in biathlon--a sport that combines cross-country skiing and rifle marksmanship--with the pursuit of higher education. Eligible students will be able to enroll in any of Paul Smith's degree programs while training.
