The annual commemoration of the historic battle features several memorials at various area locations.
Tomorrow is the 211th anniversary of the Battle of Plattsburgh and there will be several memorials. The first is at the battlefield Gateway Memorial Park that starts at 11am, then at 1:30pm at Fort Brown and finally at 5pm a memorial service at Riverside Cemetery according to Tom Donahue, President of 1814 Commemoration inc. the group that organizes the events that commemorate the Battle of Plattsburgh.
