A report by the state has been released that reviews an audit of the utility company.
The New York State Public Service Commission released the final report of an audit regarding New York State Electric & Gas Corporation. The company must now file an implementation plan responding to items in the audit within 30 days according to the PSC. In addition, the Department of Public Service issued a notice of apparent violations against the utility. On electric reliability, the violation alleges that NYSEG has not met enforceable reliability service standards for six consecutive years. The company is required to respond to that and other allegations by June 9th.
