Governor Hochul announced Monday evening an agreement on the FY2026 budget has been reached.
An agreement between the Governor and legislative leaders was reached Monday evening on key priorities in the fiscal year 2026 NY State budget. With a conceptual agreement in place, the legislative houses are expected to pass bills that will enact the agreed to priorities in the coming days. Based on a preliminary assessment from the Governors office the total budget for FY2026 is estimated at $254 Billion.
