Research led by Dr. Feifei Bu revealed that sometimes things really do look better in the morning! A team from University College London tracked mental health patterns of 49,000 adults and found that respondents reported less depression and anxiety in the morning hours. Mental well-being declined throughout the day, and hit bottom at midnight. Mental health tended to dip mid-week, and respondents experienced more dramatic mood swings on weekends. These patterns may exist due to natural biological rhythms and environmental factors like sunlight and temperature. (Study Finds)
