Heart disease remains the top cause of death globally, but a recent study reveals a 66% decrease in overall heart disease death rates in American adults aged 25 and older over the past five decades. However, deaths from other heart diseases such as arrhythmia, heart failure, and hypertensive heart disease have increased by 81% in the United States.
